Project Story

Located in the quaint village of Hope Valley, this 1 MW community solar project generates over 1,300,000 kWh of local, clean solar power. This project reduces the amount of CO₂ released into the atmosphere as much as any of the following actions annually:

• 2,795,592 Less Miles Driven
• 1,250,139 Pounds of Coal Avoided
• 1,889 Trees Planted

This project is now 100% subscribed, with residents and small businesses from across Rhode Island benefiting from their participation in this solar project and became operational on January 14, 2020.
